ISLAMABAD, March 28 (Xinhua) -- Four terrorists were killed during an operation of security forces in Pakistan's northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, an army statement said Monday.
The army's media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement that security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation on reported presence of terrorists in North Waziristan tribal district of the province.
During an exchange of fire, four terrorists got killed, the ISPR statement said.
One of the terrorists has been identified, while identification of the remaining terrorists is in progress, the statement said.
Security forces also recovered weapons and ammunition from the killed terrorists. ■
