BEIJING, July 7 (Xinhua) -- Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi held talks with United Arab Emirates (UAE)'s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan here on Saturday.
Abdullah is coming for the eighth ministerial meeting of China-Arab States Cooperation Forum (CASCF).
Wang said China attaches great importance to developing ties with the UAE, and is willing to combine the Belt and Road Initiative with the UAE's developing concept so as to build the China-UAE cooperation as a model to the Middle East and to the world.
China is also ready to deepen cooperation with the UAE side in anti-terrorism and law enforcement security, said Wang.
Abdullah said the UAE side attaches great importance to developing relations with China, hopes to deepen bilateral pragmatic cooperation, and highly appreciates China's cooperation with the Arab countries through the CASCF.
