BANGKOK, Sep. 21 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Consulate-General in Thailand's Songkhla told Chinese media late Friday that a Chinese female tourist was found dead in Songkhla Province on Thursday.
The Chinese Consulate-General in Songkhla said Thai police was informed that a body was found in Ton Nga Chang, or "ivory tusk" Waterfalls, a tourist attraction in the province.
CCTV records showed that she bought a ticket and entered the waterfall area on Wednesday.
The Chinese consulate-general said they have already asked Thai police to investigate into the case and find out the cause of her death in time as well as to persevere her body and they also contact her family members for funeral procedures.
