LONDON, April 10 (Xinhua) -- British stocks decreased on Wednesday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down by 0.05 percent, or 3.66 points, to close at 7,421.91 points.
Reckitt Benckiser Group, a British multinational consumer goods company, was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 6.49 percent. NMC Health, a private healthcare services provider, dropped 2.55 percent. Whitbread, a British multinational hotel and restaurant company, fell 2.12 percent.
Tesco, a British multinational groceries and general merchandise retailer, soared 3.59 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Severn Trent and Mondi increased by 1.92 percent and 1.91 percent, respectively. Enditem
